- Victims and Witnesses of Crime and Violence
The Victims of Crime Act of B.C. ensures that victims have the right to information on the Justice system, victim services and related legislation. A victim service worker can assist you with a Victim Impact Statement, an application for Crime Victim Assistance, or accompaniment to Crown meetings and court dates.

Children of all ages are called to testify in court. Victim Service Workers can provide child witnesses assistance and support during the court process to help them deal with any apprehensions they have about testifying.
