Protection Order Registry

Contact Us

Protection orders (family or criminal) issued by B.C. Courts or by the police are sent to the Protection Order Registry where staff enter them into the database. Staff at the registry do not deal directly with the general public. Instead, assistance is provided through VictimLINK:

Call VictimLINK at 1-800-563-0808 to be connected with a victim service worker who can help you by checking if your information is in the registry’s database.

If you are registering a protection order made in another province, you may request it be registered in B.C. through a local B.C. court registry – click here for a list of Courthouse Locations
