There are a number of organizations that provide training for and information about careers in the security industry:

Private Investigators

• Douglas College
• Focus Training Institute
• Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC) offers the Investigation and Enforcement Skills Certificate Program (IECP). Specific courses are required to complete this program - a link to the IECP program can be found on the Justice Institute Programs A- Z page or contact the Justice Institute for more information.

Security Patrol

• Contact the Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC). JIBC offers a number of Security Training Programs, including Security Patrol training.

Locksmiths
