Street Racing,
Dangerous Driving and Related Issues
To whom do
I report a bad driver/dangerous driving incident?
Bad drivers
or dangerous driving incidents should be reported directly and immediately
to the police. The police will be able to advise you of their operational
policy and procedures. If the police investigate and decide to issue
a violation ticket then the driver has the right to dispute the
ticket. If the ticket is not disputed, or the driver is found guilty,
then a conviction goes on the driver's driving record and, depending
on the driving record, the OSMV may intervene under the Driver Improvement
Program.
Email OSMV.Mailbox@gov.bc.ca for
additional information on street racing, dangerous driving and related
issues.
