RCMP GRADS COME TO B.C.
REGINA – Solicitor General John van Dongen was at RCMP headquarters in Regina to meet the newest recruits that will be coming to B.C. The public safety minister attended a number of activities including the swearing-in for Troop #21, the Sergeant Major’s Parade, and the Drill Display and Badge Presentation. He also gave the address to the graduates and their families at the evening ceremony.

Joining van Dongen are the 12 recruits that will be posted to numerous locations across the province, as well as Surrey mayor Dianne Watts (7th from left). Also joining the minister are commanding officers Fraser MacRae, Chief Superintendent OIC Surrey Detachment (far left), Roger Brown, Assistant Commissioner Depot Division (centre) and Peter German, Assistant Commissioner, Lower Mainland District Commander (far right).
