Special Occasion Licence

To apply for a Special Occasion Licence, please visit the BC Liquor Store nearest you.

For information on the maximum price you can charge:

To apply for an exemption to rules on number of events, hours, type of liquor or price you will need to use this form:

To pay extra fees for liquor inspectors attending your Special Occasion Event (only use this form when requested to do so by the Liquor Control and Licensing Branch).

A security plan is required for any special event licensed to sell or serve liquor if 500 or more people are expected to attend, or if required by local police. You may use the form below or provide similiar information in a different format.

All revenues and expenses associated with a charitable fund raising special occassion must be reported to the Liquor Control and Licensing Branch using the following form:

Request Miscellaneous Services

To request services such as additional copies of your liquor licence, validated floor plans, custom reports (i.e., how many licensees of a particular type in a specific area), copies of additional documents from licence file (i.e., reproductions of establishment photographs or blueprints), rescheduling of a final inspection or request discretion to LRS location requirements policy – you need to complete the following form:
