The branch charges a non-refundable application fee to apply for a manufacturer's licence (there is no additional fee for an agent's licence).
Application fees are $550.00 for a distillery or brewery, and anywhere from $550.00 to $990.00, depending on whether you are also applying for a lounge and/or special event area endorsement.
If your application for a manufacturer's licence is approved, you will also be required to pay an annual licence fee ranging from $550.00 to $1,540.00, pro-rated for the first year. Please see the licence fee schedule (LCLB010) for exact fees.
Licences expire on March 31st of each year and must be renewed before that date. We charge an additional $200.00 if you renew your manufacturer's licence after its expiry date.
