Class B Licence - overview
Eligibility Non-profit organizations raising funds to support programs or services they provide that directly benefit the broader community. Details provided in Section 8 of Class A and B Licence - Guidelines pdf file - Acrobat Reader required.

Individual sports teams are invited to apply for a Class D Licence. They are not eligible for a Class B Licence unless they meet the organizational eligibility criteria outlined in Section 8 of the Class A and B Licence - Guidelines pdf file - Acrobat Reader required.

Apply - Class B Licence

How to apply for a Class B Licence
Step 1

After ensuring a Class B Licence is appropriate to both your planned gaming event and the revenue you expect to raise, review the following important documents:

If you are not sure that Class B is the correct licence to apply for, please see 'Determining the correct type of licence for your gaming event' on the Licences page.

Step 2 Prepare for your application by gathering required information outlined in the Class B Licence - Pre-Application Checklist pdf file - Acrobat Reader required. Completing an application will be faster and easier if you work through this checklist ahead of time.

Option #1: Online application
Proceed to the Online Service page to apply electronically for Class B Licence.

Option #2: Mail-in application

Step 4

Typically, the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch advises applicants within three working days of receipt of the application whether a licence will be issued.
