Overview

The Audit and Compliance Division maintains a comprehensive audit strategy for the commercial and charitable gaming sectors to monitor compliance with all applicable legislation, regulation, policies and directives under the authority of the Gaming Control Act and the Gaming Control Regulation.



What is an audit?

An audit is a formal examination of your organization's gaming records and operations to ensure that you are in compliance with the Gaming Control Act, Gaming Control Regulation, public interest standards and any Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch directives.



What types of organizations are audited?

Commercial and charitable organizations that receive or generate gaming revenue are subject to audits. More information about these types of organizations is provided below:

Charitable Organizations Charitable organizations that conduct gaming events such as ticket raffles and receive community gaming grants.
