British Columbia Fire Fighter Medal of Bravery

The
Medal of Bravery was established on June 8, 1988 for members of the fire service,
to express, on behalf of the citizens of British Columbia, their gratitude to
the fire fighters who have performed acts of courage and bravery without concern
for their own personal safety. Nominations must be made in writing, to the Fire
Commissioner. Nominations will be researched by the Office of the Fire Commissioner
and forwarded to the Bravery Award Committee for consideration and final recommendation
to the Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General.
