Description
Kamloops Regional Correctional Centre is a remand and sentenced
facility for adults in the interior region of B.C. The centre opened
in 1989. In addition to nine living units, there are cells for segregation
and medical observation purposes.

Religious
and spiritual programs
The chaplain provides weekly services, ecumenical and interfaith
liaison, bible study classes and individual counselling. The chaplain
brings volunteers to the centre and helps organize special events.
Native elders provide aboriginal spirituality and cultural awareness.
A sweat lodge is located on the grounds.
