Description
The Fraser Regional Correctional Centre (FRCC) district operates Ford Mountain Correctional Centre. It is a sentenced
facility for inmates who are classified as sex offenders or mentally disordered offenders. Other inmates are classified
to the centre as a result of their protective custody status. An inmate is not transferred to Ford Mountain Correctional
Centre if his attitude is incompatible with goals of the sex offender treatment program.

Religious and spiritual programs
The chaplain provides weekly services, ecumenical and interfaith liaison, bible study classes and individual counselling.
A native liaison worker facilitates talking circles and a sweat lodge program for inmates.
