Inquests – Schedule, Jury Findings / Recommendations and Verdicts
The following is a list of upcoming inquests. Click the deceased name for inquest scheduling information. Note to media, information on attending inquests is found in the Media Guide to Attending Inquests.
Jury Findings – When an inquest is complete, a jury finding document is posted. This document is usually posted at the end of the last day of the inquest, and includes the jury’s findings and any recommendations.
Verdicts – The presiding coroner prepares a Verdict at Inquest which includes the presiding coroner comments, a brief overview of the circumstances of the death, the evidence presented and the jury's findings and any recommendations. When the verdict document is posted it replaces the jury findings document. If you are looking for the verdict for one of the 2010 or 2011 inquests (not already posted), contact BC Coroners Service.
